Don't jeopardise travel cover by failing to declare medical conditions, holidaymakers have been told.
The advice follows a survey which found 15% of middle-aged travel insurance policyholders have tried to save money on their premium by withholding pre-existing health problems.

Misconceptions on the role of the Foreign & Commonwealth Office (FCO) have been blamed for the poor uptake of travel insurance among 16-24 year olds
According to research from the FCO and the Association of British Travel Agents (ABTA), 16% of people in this demographic wrongly assume the UK government will pick up medical costs incurred abroad.
