Delegates at April's UNISON health conference have made their mark - quite literally - on our charity fundraising initiative.
We asked visitors to our UNISONProtect stand to put a purple or green thumb print on our charity tree.

For every new thumb print, we donated 50p to the UNISON Presidents, Maureen Le Marinel’s endorsed charity, the United Kingdom Acquired Brain Injury Fund (UKABIF).

Some 100 delegates at April's Brighton gathering backed the campaign, bringing the total to £50, however we are doubling donations to bring the four-day total to £100.

Our regional manager, Tom Willis, was at the conference and wished to thank people personally for their support.

He said: "It's encouraging to see just how many delegates were keen to get involved. UNISONProtect is happy to support UKABIF and help with raising its profile, plus some hard cash!”

UNISONProtect will be hosting another charity tree at UNISON's national conference in June. So come along and ‘get involved’!
