Learning and Development Manager

As a learning and development manager, you will be reporting to the Directors. You will be responsible for the business’s entire training program, delivering a variety of sessions as well as reviewing materials and processes on an ongoing basis. Our unique and scientific approach to training offers you fantastic learning and development opportunities. We’re looking for an experienced trainer who is keen to expand their knowledge and combine their expertise with further research to take a hands-on approach to improving current processes.

Key responsibilities

  • You will be delivering multiple training sessions – including induction/post induction, product and soft skills coaching – to sales agents, managers and the wider business 
  • You will be proactive in reviewing our current training materials and processes, and suggesting and implementing improvements 
  • You will be creating new training materials as and when required 
  • You will be researching and adapting training based on individual learning styles and requirements 
  • You will be analysing individual’s understanding and identifying knowledge gaps 
  • You will be contributing to sales teams’ compliance scores, by training staff to follow our best practices 
  • You will be working closely with the Sales Director and Managing Director, who will support your ongoing personal development

  • Minimum 1 year’s training experience in a professional organisation 
  • Genuine passion for training, with ambition to learn 
  • Experience of creating and delivering professional presentations 
  • Engaging communication skills and ability to build genuine relationships quickly
  • Articulate and confident when presenting 
  • Coaching using GROW and SMART techniques 
  • Ability to analyse individual’s understanding 
  • Ability to digest and comprehend lengthy documents and identify key points
  • Organisation and research skills



  • Experience of working in regulated sales 
  • Previous non-advised sales training experience 
  • Knowledge of adult learning methodologies and gamification of learning
