It’s the perfect opportunity to dust off your comfiest trainers, put on your walking jacket and discover what your area has to offer.

According to the NHS, walking is one of the easiest ways to get more active, lose weight and become healthier.  Plus it’s free and on your doorstep!

And we’re not talking about doing a lot of walking. A brisk 20 minute walk could have significant health benefits – it can even add seven years to your life according to the Independent.

To celebrate National Walking Month, we’ll show you the UK’s best walking routes (naturally with great pubs) and the team will be getting active and taking on a walking challenge. Check back soon for further updates!
